Czech Republic: Václav Havel Airport

Prague Airport is the biggest and most important international airport in the Czech Republic, handing almost 15 and a half million passengers in 2017. In the same year 69 air carriers operated flights from Prague Airport, connecting the Czech capital with 163 destinations all around the world, including New York, Montreal, Toronto, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Xian, Doha and Dubai. American Airlines is launching a new daily service between Prague and Philadelphia in May.

Prague Airport is one of the fastest growing airports in Europe, with 10-25 million checked passengers (up 17.9%). It is currently the base airport for four airlines – Czech Airlines, Travel Service/Smartwings, Ryanair and WizzAir.

Prague Airport is about 30 minutes by public transport from the city centre. It also offers a wide selection of car rentals and parking facilities. Aeroparking, a complex of the most convenient parking facilities, offers more than 6300 parking spots for both long and short term parking.

For the best customer experience and a fast, smooth journey through the terminals, Prague Airport offers various services. There are tens of restaurants in a wide range of price categories, including 24-hour restaurants or cafes. The self-service Restaurant Praha offers up to ten meals on a daily menu representing both Czech and international cuisine, with prices starting at 95 Krona.

Restaurants are situated on both sides of customs controls. On the landside, customers can sit on an open terrace in summer months and enjoy the view to the apron and aircraft, while on the airside guests will find a kid´s corner and small library. Restaurant Praha runs 24/7 with breakfast serving from six to 10am. Main meals are served after 10am.

Passengers can also enjoy three airport lounges – MasterCard Lounge at Terminal 1, ERSTE Premier Lounge at Terminal 2 and Raiffeisenbank Lounge with private check-in service also at Terminal 2. All lounges offer privacy and comfort in a unique and luxurious environment, all-inclusive refreshment with a self-service bar, wifi connection, daily press and TV, children´s area and working facilities.
